Noise reduction is an important topic of great interest. Even though the development of low noise devices is making progress, a noise free environment is hardly imaginable.
The goal of this project is to find simple and cheap ways of achieving silence. I used a microphone and an oscilloscope to measure the sound volume at particular locations and I recorded the data using the audio software "Goldwave". Using Delphi, I was able to develop a largely automatic noise cancellation system.
