We have known earthworms and their habitat since we were small children. Our project focuses on four different soils in which we found earthworms:

• Compost (garden),
• Potting soil (playground),
• Loamy soil (beet field) and
• Clay soil (near a former clay pit)

Over several months, we conducted different experiments with earthworms based on these four soils and a homemade labyrinth. We studied the senses of earthworms and we tried to find out whether earthworms can learn.
