While thinking about novel applications for radar sensors, we had the idea that radar sensors could be used to save birds. Many birds die as a result of flying against large windows. By combining a radar sensor with a flash, birds can be scared away before they hit the window. After a number of attempts we finally succeeded in realizing a suitable circuit.
