Everything began when we noticed that our hair was swirling in an uncontrolled manner while we were blow-drying our hair. We wanted to know whether it is possible to levitate hair in a controlled manner. We found that there is an existing solution for levitating objects: the I-Flyer. There are several I-Flyers in Germany that are large enough to levitate people and we decided to build a smaller version of our own.
