The goal of my engineering project is to develop a digital thermal mug, which measures not only the temperature of the liquid it contains, but also measures the amount of liquid, processes the data and visualizes this information for the user. Using LEDs and a display, I was able to develop a user-friendly system that offers different modes to accommodate the needs of the user. It is common to misjudge the temperature or amount of liquid in a thermal mug. I wanted to solve this problem. My invention can help avoid unnecessary stops at services during long car journeys, which avoids the waste of fuel and unnecessary emissions that arise from detours. My invention can be beneficial in work settings, for families and in everyday life.
